About Me
Lindsay Verboort, DC, CCSP
Allow me to introduce myself—
I am a board-licensed chiropractic physician with extensive training in sports medicine and a special interest in utilizing movement based treatments to treat musculoskeletal complaints.
My journey towards becoming a Chiropractor began when I was competing at the collegiate level in Volleyball and suffered a low back injury that took me out for months. I was at a complete loss on where to turn for relief. After many dead ends, I experienced Chiropractic for the first time and never looked back. I completed my Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) at the University of Western States in Portland, OR. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and completed extensive post graduate training to become a CCSP®.
Being a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®), I have expertise in diagnosing and treating sports related injuries. Sports medicine is one of my biggest passions and has become a large part of my practice. I am currently one of the team doctors for the Oregon Ravens, a women’s football team based here in Portland.
I utilize a variety of treatment styles based on each patient’s individual needs and goals. I most often use diversified adjusting, low force techniques and soft tissue therapies to decrease pain for my patients. You should expect to review exercises to improve movement quality to compliment my treatments. Knowing first-hand how frustrating and debilitating injuries can be, I am very passionate about empowering my patients to take a role in their own health and recovery.
Being a native Oregonian, I was lucky enough to grow up in this beautiful state. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, reading the newest thriller series, cooking or exploring with my husband and our dog Winnie.
